Arizona rodmaker Mike Johnson, recently made a comment on his blog. I asked him if he was going to be able to stop by one last time befor I left this hell hole.
His reply was "Congress is a dangerous place to visit."
While I believe he may have been referring to one of the many dangers of visiting me, I don't think he had this in mind...

    well gosh is that what I was talking about? certainly not. more about the decisions I make while I'm up there. when it rains it pours eh brother? that might be able to get ya a couple weeks to get you shit together. I'd stop by cabelas, pick up an expedition quality tent and a diesel (or somesuch) heater. price be damned. I can't think of another way to comfortably weather the winter in relative comfort.

    anyways, congress is a dangerous place to visit. I think I left some blood on yer floor. see you sometime before the new year. Merry Christmas and God bless you.

    As for price be damned...you try going to cabelea's for an expedition grade tent and a deisel (or whatever) heater with a dollar and see what you come home with.

    I bought 50 bucks of tarps yesterday. One to cover the hole in the roof and a couple three to cover the lathes and tooling under the hole.
    My landlord has turned into a slumlord. Tells me things other people are going to do and yet nothing happens or people show up.

    I am SO sick of this hell hole. I can't wait to get out of here.

    tentative plan is to head up tomorrow morning (wed). I have to behave myself. maybe we can get lunch? I dunno.

    we'll see. though tomorrow seems to play out best w/ the calendar. yes I keep one (well anita does and keeps me informed if I'm paying attention to the yammering).
